A very random suggestion for me, but an interesting one. An organisation I am a part of during formal ceremonies sings the British national anthem. For cultural reasons I never sing, but I do stand, for remaining seated would be seen as disrespectful and would cause people to talk. Also, they toast the monarch, something which I for cultural reason do not partake in, however I do stand. I've never been questioned, however I was a little while ago told I was standing wrong (placement of hands and position of head). These are not my emblems, and some of my countrymen would likely be quite vocal about it, but I always try to be be as respectful as I can.

I usually chug it out of the bottle 😂

Again, I’m not saying people should hide them but having the knowledge of the situations and contexts where this may have a negative impact might be useful. An example would be public spas in Japan. On various occasions in the UK and Spain I have paid to use private restrooms and it's well worth the money. It's amazing how disgusting some men can be. I think it's a perfectly valid alternative to public restrooms.

Thus is just a ritual for pretence. I'm not Italian, didn't grow up in Italy, know nothing about grapes or agriculture. Does the wine taste good? Is there any aftertaste? Will I get fucking sauced if I drink a few more glasses?? That's all I care about. The people that TRULY knew or cared about those snobby details are 1000% all or mostly dead by now. The Italians that were really into wine back then, and imigrated to the US. Those guys are dead. Miss me with that bs
